Ventura, Calif. – Dive into fun at the Ventura Aquatic Center’s 20th Anniversary Celebration on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Entry is free!
All ages are welcome to join in commemorating two decades of community recreation, wellness, and water safety at one of Ventura’s most beloved facilities.
Reservations are strongly recommended to streamline the entry process; however, walk-ins are also welcome. Reserve your spot online at https://bit.ly/VAC20th.
Enjoy the pools, play structures, and waterslides, along with family-friendly activities, giveaways, and more:
· Pumpkin Plunge: (1:00 – 2:00 p.m.) Swim through a floating pumpkin patch in the Recreation Pool to select a pumpkin! One pumpkin per child, maximum 4 pumpkins per family while supplies last.
· Arts & Crafts: Get creative with fall-themed arts and crafts projects and water safety materials.
· Community Booths: Interact with City departments, sign up for programs, and learn about local recreation, wellness, public safety, and housing services.
“I was a part of the grand opening of the Ventura Aquatic Center in 2005. As a Recreation Coordinator then Supervisor, I witnessed it become a cornerstone for family fun, swim lessons, and competitive training,” said Parks & Recreation Director Stacey Zarazua. “The same still stands true today. I’m excited to celebrate this milestone with the residents who have made it such a special place.”
Since opening, the Ventura Aquatic Center, has provided year-round recreation, swim programs, and event space. Annually, it serves over 150,00 guests and teaches more than 2,000 people to swim.
