The proposed project is 2,000 acres located in the Pacific Ocean approximately 6.3 nautical miles from the Ventura Harbor (i.e., federal waters), west of the cities of Ventura and Oxnard, Ventura County, CA. Center [centroid] coordinates are: latitude 34.249, longitude

Interested parties are hereby notified an application has been received for a Department of the Army permit for the activity described herein. We invite you to review today's public notice and provide views on the proposed work. By providing substantive, site-specific comments to the Corps Regulatory Division, you provide information that supports the Corps' decision-making process. All comments received during the comment period become part of the record and will be considered in the decision. This permit will be issues, issued with special conditions, or denied under Section 10 of the Rivers and Harbors Act (33 U.S.C. 403, 33 CFR 322).
