Community Fundraiser for California Fire Relief – A Day of Love, Support, and Giving
The Bonaventure Senior Living – A group of local artists and crafters are coming together to host a special fundraiser event in support of California Fire Relief. This heartwarming community gathering will take place on February 8th at The Bonaventure Senior Living, 10949 Telegraph Rd. Ventura, from 10:00-3:30. This fun-filled day will feature over 20 booths and tables filled with hand-crafted Valentine gifts, live music, unique artisan creations, and interactive activities for all ages.
This event is designed to bring the community together for a day of fun, shopping, and fellowship while raising funds to assist those impacted by the devastating wildfires. Attendees can enjoy a variety of engaging attractions, including a coloring station for kids, live music, a raffle, a dog photo booth, a love letter box, free drinks, face painting, tarot readings, and a Valentine-themed photo booth. The first 50 seniors will also receive a special gift bag, and everyone can enjoy complimentary popcorn and beverages.
"We wanted to create an event that not only raises funds for fire relief but also strengthens the bonds of our community. This is an opportunity for people to come together, show support for those in need, and enjoy a day filled with love and generosity," said Mindy Reyna, Celebrations Activity Director, Bonaventure Senior Living.
All proceeds from the event will go directly toward fire relief efforts, providing much-needed aid to families and individuals affected by the recent wildfires.
