Ventura Chamber of Commerce honors those who make a difference in the community at the 2025 Annual Poinsettia Awards set for Thursday, December 11.
(November 20, 2025 – Ventura, CA) – The Ventura Chamber of Commerce will recognize outstanding achievements of businesses and individuals who make a difference in our community at the December 11 Poinsettia Awards Luncheon, from 11:30am-1:30pm at the Marriott Ventura Beach. This year marks the 28th Anniversary of this local tradition honoring excellence in business, public service and education.
Presented by the Ventura Chamber, the categories to be recognized are:
- Large Business of the Year: McCarthy Companies
- Midsize Business of the Year: Easy Home Cleaning
- Small Business of the Year: Ventura Breeze
- Non-Profit of the Year: Ventura College Foundation
- Jewel Key: OFI Property and Fortuna VTA
- Innovation Award: Ventura County Community College District
- Young Professional of the Year: Meghan Palmquist
- Citizen of the Year: John Hofer
- Volunteer of the Year: Jamely Newton
- Ambassador of the Year: Shannon Riley
- Shining Star of the Year: Sommer Frisk
- Hometown Hero: Ventura Housing
Additional awards will be presented by the City of Ventura for excellence in public service and the Ventura Unified School District for excellence in education.
