Ventura Chamber of Commerce Political Action Committee Announces Key Endorsements for 2026 Election Cycle

Ventura, CA — May 18, 2026 — The Ventura Chamber of Commerce Political Action Committee (ChamberPAC) today announced its endorsements for three critical local and state races, supporting candidates the organization believes will champion policies that strengthen Ventura’s business climate, promote economic growth, and enhance the region’s long‑term competitiveness.

The Chamber PAC has formally endorsed:

·       Michael MacDonald for the 38th Assembly District

·       Jeff Gorell for Ventura County Supervisor, 2nd District

·       Janice Parvin for Ventura County Supervisor, 4th District

“These candidates have demonstrated a clear understanding of the challenges facing Ventura’s employers and workforce,” said Rob Leatherwood, the 2026 Chair of the Ventura Chamber PAC. “Their leadership records and commitment to pragmatic, pro‑business solutions make them strong partners for our region’s economic future.”

The committee cited each candidate’s experience, focus on job creation, and support for policies that encourage responsible growth and fiscal stability as key factors in the endorsement decisions.

The Ventura Chamber PAC evaluates candidates through interviews, voting records (when applicable), and alignment with the Chamber’s mission to advocate for a vibrant, thriving local economy. Endorsements reflect the PAC’s belief that these individuals will work collaboratively with the business community and local stakeholders to advance Ventura County’s prosperity.
