The Ventura County Transportation Commission (VCTC) is proud to partner with the LOSSAN Rail Corridor Agency and SBCAG to bring expanded Pacific Surfliner service to our region.
Starting May 4, 2026, a new daily roundtrip between Los Angeles and San Luis Obispo will make it easier than ever to travel along California’s Central Coast.
This expanded service includes:
- More frequency: 6 daily trips to Goleta and 3 daily trips to San Luis Obispo
- Better commute options: Improved schedules during peak weekday travel times
- Stronger regional connections: Easier travel between Ventura, Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, and San Luis Obispo counties
- A more productive ride: Enjoy free Wi-Fi, comfortable seating, and scenic coastal views while you travel
