Community Memorial Healthcare Introduces After-Hours Primary Care

Community Memorial Healthcare is delivering more access, more convenience and more options for care by offering after-hours primary care appointments at four locations across Ventura County: in Ventura, Oxnard, Camarillo and Santa Paula. Patients and their families can now schedule appointments with a family medicine physician or pediatrician outside traditional doctor office hours. Appointments are available Monday through Friday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on weekends.

After-hours primary care is especially convenient for working families who need flexibility with pre-scheduled primary care appointments that better fit their work, school and family schedules. After-hours primary care is not for urgent care or emergency needs; walk-in/Urgent Care is available Community Memorial’s urgent care locations. For life-threatening emergencies, patients should call 911or go to the closest emergency room immediately?.

Primary and pediatric care are available for all ages, from infants to seniors. For Community Memorial patients, after-hours visits seamlessly connect to your secure MyChart patient portal so your primary care physician stays completely in the loop. Most major insurances are accepted, including Gold-Coast/Medi-Cal and most private and managed care insurance plans including Seaview and TRICARE/United Health Care.
