On September 9, 2026, the CoC Board approved accepting nominations to fill two board seats. This is a chance for committed community members to be part of addressing homelessness in Ventura County.
If you’re passionate about ending homelessness, leading positive change, or engaging with our community, we encourage you to either apply or nominate someone whose experience and commitment would make a great addition to the board and align with the available seat descriptions. To apply, simply download and fill out the application form and include a letter of interest and experience.
Available Seat Designations:
- A representative of Education (staff of school districts, colleges, universities, or office of education that administer programs related to homeless populations or services)
- A representative with Lived Experience of Homelessness (person who has experienced homelessness (current or past)
Application Deadline: Please submit your applications by October 5th, 2026.
All applications will be reviewed by the CoC Nominations Committee with recommendations made to the CoC Board at their meeting on October 14th, 2026.
