We're looking for a new Bike Mechanic & Sales for our Ventura retail store, located 1 block from the beach and trails. We’re a community-first bike shop serving the community since 1918. Responsibilities:
- Provide a tailored shopping experience to our customers.
- Utilize modern POS systems for service tickets, transactions, and inventory management.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient retail and workshop environment.
- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on bicycles and e-bikes.
- Execute all services and repairs at a very high level of proficiency – you must be detail-oriented.
- Assist with shop operations, ensuring quality control, workflow efficiency, and excellent customer service.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members while maintaining a positive, friendly presence.
- Maintain and manage rental programs
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of professional bike and/or e-bike mechanic experience.
- Strong technical skills with modern bike components, drivetrains, wheels, suspension, and e-bike systems.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and customer-service skills.
- Experience using modern POS and service workflow systems.
