Ventura Music Festival and Sterling Venue Ventures join forces to present one of the world’s great guitarists on January 20 – the legendary Tommy Emmanuel
Australia-born Tommy Emmanuel does it all. He’s an award-winning guitarist, songwriter and singer celebrated for his complex fingerstyle technique, high energy performances and a diverse repertoire that spans pop, jazz, blues, gospel, classical, aboriginal and more.
“We’ve wanted to bring Tommy Emmanuel to the Ventura Music Festival for a long time,” said Susan Scott, VMF’s Executive Director, “and we knew the Oxnard Performing Arts Center would be a perfect venue.” When Scott subsequently learned Oxnard PACC operator and Sterling Venue Ventures CEO Lance Sterling loved Tommy Emmanuel too, the decision to co-present was struck.
Tickets are on sale now with prices ranging from $39 to $89. Get your tickets by visiting VenturaMusicFestival.org or calling the box office at 888-645-5006.
The presenters will follow all CDC/Public Health guidelines in effect day of show, which are likely to include masks along with proof of vaccination (or a negative Covid test) shown at entry.
