Rules and Regulations for Tournament
• All anglers 16 and older must have a valid fishing license with Ocean Enhancement. Anglers 15 and under do not need a fishing license!
• Daily Bag limits will be enforced per Fish and Game Regulations.
• Anglers must catch his/her own fish. Assistance may be provided by Tournament Judges only!
• All fish from the approved species list must be shown to a judge for scoring purposes! Anglers may keep his/her catch if they desire. Approved Species and point value for this event are as follows:Point System: Smelt 1, Croaker 2, Perch 3, Corbina 4, Halibut 5• 1 rod maximum in the water at all times per angler!
• Anglers can use mussels, clams, anchovy, sardines, mackerel, squid, shrimp, gulp products, Luckycraft lures, kastmasters, roostertail, surface irons, or any type of grubs or jigs. No Sabiki’s or more than 2 hooks allowed!
• Tournament Fishing will be from 8:00 am -11:00 am on the shoreline.
• Winner will be announced at approximately 11:05 am
• Lunch will be served at 11:15 am until 12:00 pm.
In the event of a tie, a 15 minutes sudden death time will be given, after that, a winner will be declared.
