Economic Outlook Breakfast - “Imagination & Innovation”
 
The Ventura Chamber of Commerce will host its annual Economic Outlook Breakfast –  “Imagination & Innovation” on Thursday, June 19, 2014, from 7:30am – 10:00am at the Marriott Ventura Beach. The event will feature speakers and presentations on helping our local businesses to stay ahead of the curve in a very competitive and fast moving economy.
 
The speaker line-up includes:

• Neil Ruiz, Ph.D, Senior Policy Analyst and Associate Fellow at the Brookings Institution who will speak on the perspective of innovation, economic development, and workforce development from a global perspective.
• Patrick Lopker, Former Executive Vice President and CFO, The Disney Channel/ABC Cable Network Group who will speak on striking a balance between creativity and the bottom line.
• Barbara Brown, Founder, CEO, and Chief Creative Officer of BBM&D Strategic Branding   who will speak on the ground game of consistent business innovation and redesign to maintain relevance and consumer interest.
• Jason Womack, Owner of the Jason Womack Company who will speak on the internal process of change and challenges leading to innovation, new products, and business opportunities.
• David Keebler, Vice President of Business Affairs, Ventura College who will give the audience an overview of the new Applied Science Center, a hands on concept to technical job skill training program that meets and develop the skills to perform future tasks that have not been identified.
